When custom furniture is worth it
Custom furniture is made for one room and one client rather than for a shop floor. It makes the most sense in three situations. The first is size: a dining table that seats exactly the number of people you host, a bed for an alcove or a desk that fills a niche wall to wall. The second is coordination: a headboard, bedside tables and wardrobe in one finish, or a console that matches the TV wall and the kitchen. The third is when you have seen nothing you like. Because our joinery is made in-house, we can design a piece around the room, show it in 3D and make it to those drawings, so what arrives is what you approved.
What we make
Beds and headboards
Bed frames with storage underneath, and headboards that run the width of the wall, upholstered, panelled or slatted, with bedside tables built in.
Dining and coffee tables
Tables sized to the room and the number of guests, with tops chosen for how the table is used.
Desks and study furniture
Desks for home offices and children's rooms with cable management, drawers and shelving planned in.
Sofas and seating
Sofas and built-in bench seating made to the length of a wall or the shape of a majlis or a bay.
Consoles and sideboards
Hall consoles, sideboards and display cabinets in the same finish as the rest of the joinery.
Children's furniture
Beds, study desks and storage that suit a child now and can be adapted as they grow.
What to decide before a piece is made
Custom furniture is only as good as the brief. These are the questions we work through with you.
- How it will be usedA dining table for daily family meals needs a tougher top than one used for occasional dinners.
- Exact sizes and clearancesSpace to pull out chairs, open drawers and walk around the piece.
- How it gets into the roomLift sizes, stair turns and door widths decide whether a large piece is made in one part or several.
- Finishes that match the roomTimber, veneer, lacquer, stone-effect or fabric chosen alongside floors, walls and other joinery.
- Fabric for upholstered piecesColour, wear and how easy it is to clean, especially with children or pets.
- Fixed or freestandingSome pieces, like a bench along a wall, are better fixed in place; others need to move.
Designing furniture with the room
One design for the walls, the joinery and the furniture
The best custom furniture is designed at the same time as the room around it. If the bed wall is being panelled, the headboard and bedside tables can be part of the same design, with lighting and sockets in the right place. If the living room has a new TV wall, the coffee table and sideboard can pick up its finish and proportions.
Dubai's climate is worth thinking about too. Strong sun near a large window fades fabrics and some finishes, and solid timber moves as humidity changes when the AC is switched off for the summer. We design and detail pieces with this in mind, and show them in 3D in your room so you can check scale and colour before production.

Project Study
A free site visit to measure the room, check access and understand how the piece will be used.
Plan
We agree the design direction, sizes, materials, finishes and any fabric or hardware.
Visualization
You see the piece in 3D in your room and adjust its size, shape and finish before it is made.
Execution
The piece is made in-house and delivered and installed by our team, with a dedicated project manager as your single point of contact.
