Custom furniture is not the same as fitted joinery. A wardrobe is built into the wall; a console, a desk, a bench or a dressing table is a piece that stands in the room but is still made to its measurements and finishes. Designing around belief and tradition
Project Solace in DAMAC Hills was shaped around the client's spiritual and traditional preferences. A Buddha water fountain statue was placed for the client's spiritual needs and a custom-built Tulsi structure was constructed to bring a traditional element into the home.
That is the kind of brief custom work suits: a piece that does not exist in any catalogue because it is specific to one family. We talk it through on the site visit, draw it in 3D in its place, and only then make it.
