Luxury interior design, in the detail

A high-end interior is rarely about the most expensive material. It shows in how surfaces meet, what is hidden, how light falls and how well each piece is made for the room it is in.

WHAT MAKES

What makes an interior feel expensive

Walk into a well-finished room and you notice the calm before any single object. Lines are straight, joints are tight, doors close quietly, there is no visible grille, cable or light fitting fighting for attention, and the light seems to come from the architecture rather than a fixture. That calm is the result of decisions taken long before the decorative pieces arrive. Marble and gold can look cheap if the slab joints wander or the skirting does not line up with the door frame; plain painted walls can look superb when the ceiling, the shadow gap and the lighting are drawn with care. In Dubai, where many homes use similar materials, the difference between ordinary and exceptional is almost always in the execution. The same restraint runs through our modern villa redesigns, where clean lines and a limited palette of materials carry the house.

WHERE THE

Where the quality shows

01

Joints and alignments

Tile and stone joints that line up across a floor and up a wall, skirting that meets door frames cleanly, joinery reveals that are even all the way round.

02

Concealed services

Air-conditioning grilles in linear slots, speakers behind fabric, sockets placed where furniture will not cover them, thermostats in one tidy panel.

03

Light from the architecture

Cove lighting in gypsum ceilings, lit niches, LED lines under floating joinery and on stair treads, with circuits for different moods.

04

Bespoke joinery

Wardrobes, TV walls and panelling made for the exact wall, with the finish and handle detail drawn rather than chosen from a catalogue.

05

Material honesty

Each material used where it performs: stone where it will be touched and admired, durable finishes where it will be scuffed. A small, deliberate palette of timber, stone-effect surfaces and plain render is also the basis of contemporary design for Dubai villas.

06

Quiet technology

Smart home control of lighting, climate and ambience that works from one interface without a row of switches on every wall. Switchable glass and other planned-in features are collected on our innovation hub.

BESPOKE, NOT

Bespoke, not branded

Designed for one client

A luxury interior is personal. It reflects how one family lives and what it values, which is why we start with routines and taste, not with a mood board of hotel lobbies. A dressing room is planned around what is actually stored there; a TV wall is drawn around the screen size and the speakers; a powder room is designed for the guests who will see it. The same applies to kitchens planned around how you cook, where storage and preparation areas are decided before the cabinets are drawn.

Because our joinery is made in-house and our team executes what it designs, the details shown in the 3D design are the details built on site. That control matters most at this level, where a few millimetres in a reveal or a shadow gap separate a precise finish from a nearly precise one.

HOW WE

How we work at this level

01

Project Study

A free site visit and a long conversation about how you live, what you love and what has disappointed you in past homes.

02

Plan

Scope, priorities and the details that matter most to you are agreed. Approvals that apply to your property are applied for by us.

03

Visualization

Every room is designed in 3D, including joinery details and lighting scenes, so decisions are made on screen rather than on site.

04

Execution

Our in-house team builds it, with one project manager responsible for the finish quality from first trade to handover.

WHAT DRIVES

What drives the cost

At this level the drivers are less about area and more about detail.

  • Amount and complexity of bespoke joinery
  • Natural stone and specialist finishes
  • Lighting designNumber of circuits, concealed fittings and control.
  • Smart home scope
  • Tolerance and detailingShadow gaps, flush doors and aligned joints take more time to build.
  • Furniture, fabrics and art
FAQ

Questions and answers

Does a luxury interior need expensive materials?

Not always. Precise detailing, good lighting and well-made joinery often matter more than the price of the material.

Can you design a high-end interior for an apartment?

Yes. The same attention to detail applies to an apartment or a penthouse as to a villa.

Is the joinery made by you?

Yes. Joinery is made in-house, which lets us control the details drawn in the design.

Can smart home control be included?

Yes. Several of our projects, including Violet and Beyond, included smart home automation.

Will I see the details before they are built?

Yes. Each room is designed in 3D, including joinery and lighting, before execution.

Who manages the work?

A dedicated project manager is your single point of contact from the first visit to handover.

How is the price set?

After the site visit, once the scope, the materials and the level of detailing are agreed.
