Landscape construction in Al Barsha
Building outside an Al Barsha villa often means more than a back garden: driveways that carry cars, boundary walls, gates, car shades and a front garden, on top of the usual drainage, irrigation and planting.

Construction across the whole villa plot
In the villa areas of Al Barsha 2, 3 and Al Barsha South, many homes stand on their own plots with a driveway, a front garden and a rear garden, and many have been altered by successive owners. Landscape construction on these plots is closer to civil work than in a compact townhouse garden. Driveway paving has to carry vehicles. Boundary walls and gates may need repair or rebuilding. Car shades need footings. Old paving, sheds or a disused pool may have to come out first. Where a new pool is part of the plan, or an old one is to be renovated rather than removed, our pool construction for Al Barsha villas page covers that work. We carry out all of it with our own team, alongside the hardscape, irrigation, lighting and planting, under one project manager. This page is about the build; our design-and-build page covers how the layout is planned. The photographs are from our projects in other Dubai communities.
What we build on an Al Barsha plot
Driveways and parking
Interlock or paving on a sub-base built for vehicle loads, with edging that stops blocks spreading.
Boundary walls and gates
Repairs, rebuilding or new wall sections, piers and gate openings, finished to match the villa.
Car shades and structures
Footings and bases for car parking shades, pergolas and gazebos, set out before paving.
Demolition and clearance
Removing old paving, sheds, planters or disused features, with the waste taken off site.
Drainage and irrigation
Falls away from the house and towards suitable outlets, and irrigation zones laid before planting.
Lighting, surfaces and planting
Cable ducts, then paths, terraces and decking, then lawn, artificial grass and planting.
How the build is sequenced
Project Study
A free site visit to survey the plot, the condition of walls and paving, existing services and how the street and neighbours affect deliveries.
Plan
A sequence for demolition, civil works and landscaping, and the approvals the plot needs, which we confirm and apply for.
Visualization
The finished plot in 3D, so walls, levels, structures and lights are built to an approved design.
Execution
Demolition, then walls and footings, then drainage, irrigation and ducts, then paving and decking, then planting.
Duration depends on the work. A programme follows the site visit.
Working on a residential street
Al Barsha villa streets are lived in, so the site has to be run with neighbours in mind.
- Deliveries and skipsMaterials and waste are timed and placed so the street and neighbouring driveways stay usable.
- Keeping your car in useWhere the driveway is being rebuilt, we phase it so you can still park or reach the house.
- Noise and hoursBreaking and cutting are kept within our working hours, 8:00 to 17:00, Monday to Saturday.
- Existing servicesWater, power and drainage lines on older plots are not always where drawings say. We locate them before digging.
- ApprovalsWhich approvals apply depends on the plot, the scope and who manages the area. We confirm them and apply ourselves.
Building for the heat and for cars
The base matters more than the surface
Driveway paving fails from below. Without a compacted sub-base of the right depth, blocks rut and sink where tyres run. Garden paving near seating fails differently: dark surfaces become too hot to walk on in summer. We specify the base for the load and the surface for the use.
Older plots also hide surprises: roots under paths, old irrigation patched many times, cables run by earlier owners. These are surveyed before the price is set, and the irrigation and lighting are tested before new paving closes over them.
