Landscape construction in Dubai Silicon Oasis

Building a garden in an established, gated villa community is mostly about order and care: what goes in the ground first, how materials reach the back garden, and how the neighbours are kept undisturbed.

BUILDING IN

Building in a garden that is already lived in

Most villa gardens in Dubai Silicon Oasis are not empty plots. Cedre and Semmer are established communities, and a typical job starts with something to take out: tired paving, a lawn that no longer survives the summer, planters in the wrong place, old cables and irrigation pipes that nobody has a drawing for. Construction here begins with careful strip-out and with protecting what stays, such as a mature tree, an existing pool or the villa's own walls and AC units. Only then does the new garden go in, one layer at a time.

THE ORDER

The order we build in

  • Strip-out and setting outRemoving what is being replaced and marking the new layout on the ground from the approved drawings.
  • Levels and drainageSetting falls so irrigation water and the occasional heavy rain run away from the villa, door thresholds and the neighbour's wall.
  • Civil and blockworkFootings and blockwork for planters, raised beds, seating walls, BBQ counters and the bases of pergolas or a gazebo.
  • Services in the groundIrrigation mains and zone lines, sleeves under paths, and ducts for lighting and power cables, all laid before anything is covered.
  • Hard surfacesPaving, interlock, stepping stones, decking and edging, laid to the levels set earlier.
  • Planting and lawnSoil preparation, trees, shrubs and natural lawn or artificial grass, followed by commissioning the irrigation zones.
  • Lighting and handoverFittings connected, the system tested at dusk and the garden handed over with the irrigation set up.
WORKING INSIDE

Working inside a gated community

Access, materials and neighbours

In a gated community, getting materials and machinery to the plot is part of the plan. Townhouse and twin-villa gardens are often reached only through the house or a narrow side passage, so we plan delivery sizes, protection of floors and walls, and where spoil is stored before it leaves site. Community rules on working times, contractor access and keeping shared roads clear apply on top of our own working hours of 8:00 to 17:00, Monday to Saturday.

Works like this usually need approval from the community's master developer or management before they start. We confirm what applies to your villa and apply for it ourselves, so the team arrives with permission in place.

HOW A

How a construction job runs with us

01

Project Study

A free site visit to check levels, access routes into the garden, existing services and anything that must be protected.

02

Plan

A build sequence, a materials list and the approvals, which we apply for before mobilising.

03

Visualization

If the garden has not been designed yet, we draw it in 3D first so construction follows an agreed scheme.

04

Execution

Our own team builds it in the order above, with one project manager as your daily contact.

FAQ

Questions and answers

Can you build a garden someone else designed?

Yes, if the drawings are buildable. We review them at the site visit and flag anything that needs resolving, such as levels or drainage.

My townhouse garden has no side access. Can you still build it?

Usually, yes. We plan smaller deliveries, protect the floors and walls inside, and stage materials so the house stays usable.

Will you keep my existing tree and pool?

Where they are in good condition, yes. We protect them during the works and design levels and services around them.

Who arranges approval with the community?

We do. Approvals in a managed community like Dubai Silicon Oasis sit with the community's master developer or management, and we apply for them ourselves.

Do you lay irrigation and lighting cables yourselves?

Yes. Irrigation and cable ducts are laid by our team before the paving and planting, so nothing has to be dug up later.

How long will construction take?

It depends on the work. We give you a programme after the site visit.
