A private garden in a park community
According to Dubai Properties, its developer, Mudon is a gated community in Dubailand set amidst parkland, with villas, townhouses and apartments, landscaped parks, jogging tracks and a central park. Its Arabella phase is described as townhouses with gardens and private green spaces. With so much shared green outside the gate, a private garden here does not need to be a small park. It works better as an outdoor room: somewhere to sit in the evening, eat with the family and let the children play, seen through the glass doors of the living room. Designing it starts from that view, with the same 3D process we use for all our landscape design in Dubai.

Celine and Mudon (Arabella)
In Project Celine, a full villa renovation in Mudon, the outdoor work was natural landscaping, calming greenery and a curated stepping-stone pathway, finishing a home whose interior had also been reworked.
In Project Mudon, in Arabella, the works transformed the indoors and the outdoors together. The photographs show a lawn edged with planted pots, wall lights along the boundary and a lit side passage of stepping stones, so the garden reads as part of the home after dark.

- Group by water needThirsty plants on one irrigation zone, tougher ones on another, so neither is over- or under-watered.
