Villa renovation in Mudon
We have renovated two homes in Mudon, from bathrooms and kitchens to ceilings, joinery and gardens. Here is how we approach a renovation in this community.

Two Mudon renovations, two starting points
Project Celine began with what its project page calls a standard unfurnished residence, the state many Mudon homes are in when owners first get the keys. Project Mudon, in Arabella, was a home that needed a drastic transformation indoors, including kitchen and bathroom, and outdoors. Between them they cover the two most common renovation briefs we hear in the community: finishing a plain handover into a home with character, and reworking a lived-in home that no longer suits its owners.
What we renovated in Mudon
Bathrooms
Celine's bathrooms were completely redesigned with practical wall niches and refined finishes.
Kitchens
Celine's kitchen gained an optimised layout; Mudon's renovation included kitchen works.
Living room feature wall
A custom TV frame wall in Celine's hall unified the living area.
Ceilings and lighting
Gypsum ceilings and new lighting throughout Project Mudon.
Tiling and joinery
Tiling and extensive customised joinery in Project Mudon.
Garden
Natural landscaping and a stepping-stone path at Celine; outdoor works and lighting at Mudon.
Townhouse renovation in practice
Shared walls, one front door
Mudon includes townhouses as well as villas, and a townhouse renovation is planned around its neighbours. Work on a shared wall, noisy demolition and deliveries are scheduled within our working hours of 8:00 to 17:00, Monday to Saturday, and within the community's rules. Approvals for the scope sit with the community's master developer or management; we apply for them ourselves.
Inside, the usual order is wet areas first, since bathrooms and kitchens involve plumbing and waterproofing, then ceilings and electrics, then floors and joinery, and the garden last so that no outdoor work passes over new floors.
