Landscape design and build in Jumeirah Park

Jumeirah Park gardens are family gardens. We design yours around how the household uses it, from a place for children to play to a shaded table for dinner outside, then build it with our own team.

A PRIVATE

A private garden in a community of parks

Nakheel describes Jumeirah Park as villas set among lush parks and green spaces, with private gardens and seasonal landscapes, and a masterplan built around family-oriented amenities. Families who live here already have parks, play areas and sports courts down the road, so a private garden does not have to do everything. What it should do is the things a park cannot: a shaded place to eat at home, a lawn the children can use in sight of the kitchen, somewhere to cook outside, and a corner that is quiet in the evening. We design the garden as a set of these everyday uses first, and only then choose the materials. The photographs on this page come from our projects in other Dubai communities.

ZONES A

Zones a family garden usually needs

01

Play

Open lawn or artificial grass, and where wanted a play area or rubber play flooring, placed where it can be watched from inside.

02

Eat and cook

A dining area under a pergola, with a BBQ or bar counter and storage built by our in-house joinery.

03

Sit and relax

Sunken seating, a fire pit or a quiet bench, away from the play zone and turned away from the afternoon sun.

04

Move

Paths and stepping stones that connect the gate, the house and each zone, wide enough for a pram or a bike.

05

Grow

Planting beds, trees and palms, chosen so the garden has colour across the seasons and shade where it is needed.

DESIGNING FOR

Designing for the years ahead

A garden that changes as the children grow

A play lawn for young children may become a place for a trampoline, then a putting green or an outdoor gym, then a calm garden again. We plan for that in the design: ducts for future lighting or power laid under paving now, a lawn area that can later take a structure, and planting that will not shade out a future pool.

You see each option in 3D during Visualization. Changes then are drawing changes, not demolition.

HOW WE

How we design and build a Jumeirah Park garden

01

Project Study

A free site visit with the family: who uses the garden, when, and for what, plus sun, levels and access.

02

Plan

Zones, routes, planting and features, and the approvals the work needs. We apply for the Nakheel NOC ourselves.

03

Visualization

The garden in 3D, including options you may add later, revised until it fits how you live.

04

Execution

Our in-house team builds the approved design, with one project manager as your contact.

Duration depends on the work. You receive a programme after the site visit.

FAQ

Questions and answers

Do I need approval to redesign my Jumeirah Park garden?

Jumeirah Park was developed by Nakheel, and according to Nakheel's FAQ an NOC from its Urban Planning team is needed before alterations. We check what your design needs and apply for it ourselves.

Can the garden include a play area for children?

Yes. We can design a play lawn, a play area with rubber play flooring, or space for equipment, placed where it can be supervised from the house.

Is a private garden worth building when Jumeirah Park has so many parks?

Many owners find the private garden is where the everyday things happen that a park cannot offer: shade at home, outdoor dining and a safe space for young children.

Can we add a pool to our Jumeirah Park garden later?

Yes. If a pool may come later, we keep the space, levels and service routes free for it in the garden design.

Natural lawn or artificial grass?

Both are possible. Natural lawn needs irrigation and care; artificial grass suits heavy play and areas with little sun.

Is the site visit free?

Yes, the first site visit is free.
