Building a garden where space and access are tight
In Jumeirah Village Circle the villa and townhouse clusters sit close together, and many back gardens can only be reached through the house or along a narrow side passage. That changes how a garden is built. There is rarely room to store a delivery of slabs, sand and blocks, so materials arrive in the order they are needed. Rubble from old paving has to leave the same way it came in. Neighbours are a wall away, so noisy work is planned rather than improvised. Landscape construction is the execution side of a garden: the levels, the civil work and the services that disappear under the finishes.
What the build includes
- Strip-out and removalOld paving, tired lawn, broken planters and rubble, carried out through the access route agreed at the start.
- Levels and fallsSurfaces set to drain away from the house, with thresholds at sliding doors kept clear of irrigation and wash-down water.
- Blockwork and civil workGarden walls, raised planters, bases for BBQ and bar counters, and footings for pergolas or a gazebo.
- Services before finishesIrrigation lines, sleeves under paving for future runs, and ducts for lighting and power, laid and tested before anything is covered.
- Hard finishesPaving and interlock, paths and stepping stones, decking and edging.
- Soft finishes lastNatural lawn or artificial grass and planting go in once heavy work is finished, so they are not damaged.

Access, neighbours and community rules
Before work starts we agree how materials reach the garden. Where the only way is through the house, floors and doors are protected and bulky items such as slabs or a pergola frame are chosen in sizes that pass through the route. Where a side gate exists, it becomes the site entrance.
Our team works from 8:00 to 17:00, Monday to Saturday. Communities can also set their own rules on contractor access, working times and where materials and waste may be left, and we work to the conditions attached to the approval for your home. Your project manager is the one person you call.

Approvals before the first tile comes up
According to Nakheel's website, Jumeirah Village Circle is one of its communities. Its FAQ says that owners need an NOC from Nakheel's Urban Planning team before making alterations, and that some construction work needs both a Nakheel and a Trakhees NOC. Walls, footings and structures are the kind of garden work where this matters. We confirm what your scope needs and apply for the approvals ourselves before work begins.
How the build is run
Project Study
A free site visit to record levels, existing services, the access route and what has to be removed.
Plan
A sequence for strip-out, services, hardscape and planting, with deliveries planned for a site with little storage. Approvals are applied for by us.
Visualization
The agreed garden in 3D, so levels, wall heights and lighting positions are fixed before the site team starts.
Execution
Our own team builds it in order, services first and planting last, with one project manager in charge.
Duration depends on the work. A programme follows the site visit.
