Landscape construction in Al Furjan
In a compact Al Furjan garden, most of the work is in what you will never see: the bases, cables and levels beneath the finished surface. We build those first and the garden on top.

Building a garden behind a villa or townhouse
Construction in an Al Furjan garden usually happens in a tight space with one way in. On a townhouse, materials may have to come through a side gate or even through the house, and there is little room to store blocks, sand and paving on site. That shapes how we work: deliveries are planned in small batches, spoil leaves the same day where possible, and each layer is finished before the next arrives. The sequence itself does not change. Ground is cleared and levelled, blockwork goes up for planters and counters, irrigation and lighting cables are laid, and only then come stepping stones, paving, grass and planting.
What we build, layer by layer
- Clearing and levelsExisting surfaces removed and new falls set away from the house and towards drainage points.
- Blockwork and basesPlanter walls, bench supports, BBQ counter bases and pergola foundations.
- Concealed servicesIrrigation lines and the ducts for underlights, spike lights and power, laid before anything is closed.
- HardscapeStepping stones, paving and edging set to level so grass and stone meet cleanly.
- FinishesArtificial grass or lawn, planting, and the BBQ counter tops and cabinets.
- Lighting and handoverFittings connected, tested at night, and the garden handed over by your project manager.
Construction details from Project Murano
Floating elements need hidden structure
Murano's planter wall with a floating bench and its pergola with a floating base both rely on supports set back from the edge, so the element appears to hover over a strip of light. The underlights and their cables have to be in place before the bench and base are finished, and the grass level has to stop exactly where the light begins.
The same garden includes stepping stones, a BBQ countertop and backsplash with cabinets, parking and other lighting works, all built by our team in one project.

Nakheel rules and approvals
According to Nakheel's website, Al Furjan is a Nakheel development. Nakheel's FAQ states that owners can make changes as long as they do not affect the external facade and structure, and that an NOC from Nakheel's Urban Planning team is needed before any alterations; it also refers to some construction work needing a Trakhees NOC as well. We confirm which approvals your garden works need and apply for them ourselves before construction starts. Our teams work 8:00 to 17:00, Monday to Saturday.
