Garden maintenance in Dubai
We look after villa gardens in Dubai, from lawns, hedges and palms to irrigation, lighting and paving, with the same eye for detail we use when we build them.

What a Dubai garden needs to stay healthy
A garden in Dubai lives or dies by water, heat and sand. Summer temperatures stress lawns and young plants, irrigation that is slightly off leaves dry patches in one corner and waterlogged beds in another, and wind brings sand and dust onto paving, artificial grass and pool decks. Plants grow fast in the cooler months and need cutting back before summer. None of this is difficult, but it has to be done regularly and by people who notice small problems: a dripper that has stopped, a palm with a pest, a spike light that has failed, a paving joint that has opened. Left alone, those turn into a dead hedge, a stained wall or a lawn that has to be relaid.
What garden maintenance in Dubai covers
Lawn care
Mowing, edging, feeding and treating natural lawns, and repairing worn or dry patches before they spread.
Artificial grass
Brushing, removing debris and sand, checking joins and edges, and keeping the surface clean around pools and play areas.
Trees, palms and hedges
Pruning, shaping and clearing palms, trees, hedges and climbers, and watching for pests and disease.
Beds and planters
Weeding, replanting, mulching, soil top-ups and seasonal planting in beds and built-in planters.
Irrigation
Checking timers, drippers, sprinklers and pipes, adjusting watering for the season and fixing leaks and blockages.
Hard landscape and lighting
Cleaning paving and stepping stones, checking garden lights and spike lights, and spotting cracked joints, loose stones or failing fittings.
Season by season in a Dubai garden
The year runs the other way round
In much of the world the garden rests in winter. In Dubai the cooler months from roughly October to April are the growing and planting season: new planting establishes best then, lawns recover and most pruning and shaping is done. It is also the time to check irrigation before demand rises again.
Through the hot months the aim is to keep plants alive and the garden usable rather than to make big changes. Watering times and amounts are adjusted, stressed plants are watched closely, and shade, mulch and clean irrigation matter more than anything else. After summer, the garden is reviewed: what struggled, what should be replaced with something more heat tolerant, and whether any part of the layout needs to change.

When maintenance is not enough
Some gardens need more than upkeep. These are signs that a garden is worth redesigning, which we can also do.
- Plants that fail every summerUsually the wrong species for the position, or irrigation that cannot reach them properly.
- A lawn that never recoversHeavy shade, poor soil or constant foot traffic, where artificial grass or paving may suit better.
- Irrigation that keeps leakingOld pipework that is cheaper to replace than to patch.
- A garden nobody usesNo shade, no seating or no lighting, which is a design question rather than a maintenance one.
How we start
Project Study
A free site visit to walk the garden with you, look at planting, lawn, irrigation, lighting and paving, and understand what you want looked after.
Plan
We agree the scope of the maintenance and any repairs or replacements needed first, such as irrigation fixes or replanting.
Visualization
If the garden needs larger changes, such as new beds, a different lawn or added lighting, they are shown in 3D before any work is done.
Execution
Our in-house team carries out the work, with a dedicated project manager as your single point of contact.
What changes the cost of garden maintenance
- Size of the garden
- Type of plantingLawns, hedges, palms and seasonal beds need different attention.
- Irrigation conditionA working system, or one that needs repairs first.
- Extras in the scopeLighting, paving, water features or artificial grass. These come under our wider landscaping and outdoor works.
- Initial clean-upA neglected garden needs a one-off recovery before routine upkeep.
