Custom wardrobes were a feature of our Dubailand project, Beyond. We design each wardrobe for its bedroom and the person using it, make it in our workshop and fit it ourselves.

A wardrobe for each bedroom, not one design for all
In a family villa the bedrooms are used very differently. The main bedroom may want a long run of hanging space or a dressing area; a child's room needs low rails and drawers that grow with them; a guest room needs a modest wardrobe that leaves space for luggage. Designing every wardrobe in the house at the same time lets each one suit its room while keeping the same finishes and details, so the house still reads as one design. At Project Beyond, bespoke joinery was made across all bedrooms, alongside custom wardrobes.

Project Beyond
Beyond is a corner-unit villa in Dubailand that we transformed from a traditional layout into a modern home. Its scope included bespoke joinery across all bedrooms and visually striking custom wardrobes, with gypsum ceilings and ambient lighting overhead.
Planning wardrobes together with the ceilings means the lighting, the ceiling line and the top of the wardrobe can be designed to meet cleanly, instead of leaving a gap or a clash where the two trades meet.

Hinged
Full access and the widest choice of door finishes.
Sliding
For narrower rooms or where the wardrobe faces the bed.
Walk-in or dressing area
Open shelving and hanging in a separate zone of a larger bedroom.
Children's wardrobes
Adjustable rails and shelves that can be raised over the years.

What changes the cost of a wardrobe
Width and height, hinged or sliding doors, the door and carcass finish, the inside fittings and lighting, and removing old wardrobes first. Making all the bedrooms' wardrobes in one production run keeps finishes consistent. A quotation follows the site visit and 3D design.
