Villa renovation in Jumeirah Park

Families in Jumeirah Park renovate as their needs change: a bigger kitchen, a bedroom for each child, a study, more storage. We plan the whole villa in 3D and phase the work around daily life.

RENOVATING A

Renovating a family villa while the family lives in it

Jumeirah Park is a Nakheel villa community built around parks, private gardens and family amenities. That makes it a place where people stay as their families grow, and renovations here tend to follow life changes rather than fashion. A second child needs a room. Teenagers want their own space. Someone starts working from home. The kitchen that suited a couple no longer suits five. A good renovation reorganises the house for the next stage, and it has to be done while the family keeps living there. The projects shown are from other Dubai communities.

THE CHANGES

The changes Jumeirah Park families usually ask about

01

A kitchen for a bigger household

New layout, more worktop and storage, and cabinetry made in our own joinery workshop.

02

Children's rooms

Bedrooms reworked with built-in wardrobes, study desks and storage that can change as the children grow.

03

A home office or study

A spare room or an under-used corner turned into a quiet place to work.

04

Guest suite

A bedroom and bathroom refitted so visiting family have their own space.

05

Bathrooms

Renovated one at a time, so the household is never without one.

06

Storage everywhere

Fitted wardrobes, under-stair cupboards and utility storage, which a family villa never has enough of.

PHASING THE

Phasing the work around school and work

Which rooms stay in use, and when

Before work starts we agree which bedrooms, which bathroom and what kitchen arrangement the family keeps during each phase. Noisy work such as demolition is grouped together, and work areas are closed off so dust stays where it is made.

Our team works 8:00 to 17:00, Monday to Saturday. A dedicated project manager is your single point of contact, so you are not coordinating trades between school runs.

APPROVALS FOR

Approvals for a Jumeirah Park renovation

According to the FAQ on Nakheel's website, owners must obtain an NOC from Nakheel's Urban Planning team before making alterations, and changes are possible as long as they do not affect the external facade and structure of the property. Interior work such as kitchens, bathrooms and joinery is where most family renovations sit. We check your scope against the rules and apply for the NOC ourselves.

HOW THE

How the renovation runs

01

Project Study

A free site visit to walk the villa with the family and talk about how each room is used now and will be used next.

02

Plan

Scope, phases and the rooms that stay in use. We apply for the Nakheel NOC.

03

Visualization

Each room in 3D, including the joinery, so the children can see their rooms too.

04

Execution

Our in-house team works phase by phase, with joinery made in our own workshop.

Duration depends on the work. A programme for each phase is given after the site visit.

FAQ

Questions and answers

Can we renovate our Jumeirah Park villa while living in it?

Usually, yes. We phase the work, agree which rooms stay in use and close off work areas from the rest of the house.

Do we need a Nakheel NOC for interior renovation?

Nakheel's FAQ says an NOC from its Urban Planning team is needed before making alterations. We confirm what your work needs and apply for it ourselves.

Can we make changes to the outside of the villa?

According to Nakheel's FAQ, changes must not affect the external facade and structure. External changes are checked against the community rules first.

Can you build the wardrobes and kitchen yourselves?

Yes. Our joinery is made in-house, so kitchens, wardrobes and storage are designed and built by the same team.

Can the garden be done at the same time?

Yes. Outdoor work uses different trades and access, and can run alongside the interior.

How long will the renovation take?

It depends on the work and the phasing. We give you a programme after the site visit.
