Bedroom renovation in Dubai
We renovate bedrooms in Dubai villas and apartments with built-in wardrobes from our own joinery, gypsum ceilings with concealed lighting, new flooring and wall finishes, designed in 3D first.

The quietest room, renovated with the most care
A bedroom renovation rarely involves plumbing or heavy building work, unless an en-suite is part of it, so the effort goes into the things you notice when you lie down and when you open the wardrobe: storage, light, temperature and sound. Most bedrooms in Dubai homes come with a flat ceiling, a single central light and a standard sliding wardrobe. Replacing those with joinery made for the room and a layered lighting plan changes how the room feels more than any piece of furniture.
What we change in a bedroom
Wardrobes and joinery
Built-in wardrobes using the full wall height, with the inside planned around what you store. A bed wall, dressing table or study desk can be made to match.
Ceiling and lighting
A gypsum ceiling with a recessed cove for soft indirect light, reading lights at the bed and switching you can reach without getting up.
Flooring
Wood, laminate, vinyl or carpet laid over the old floor or after removing it, chosen for comfort underfoot and sound.
Walls
A panelled or upholstered wall behind the bed, wallpaper or paint.
Curtains and blackout
A recess in the ceiling for curtain tracks, so blackout curtains meet the ceiling and keep the summer light out.
Changing the room's use
Turning a spare bedroom into a nursery, a child's room, a guest suite or a home office.
Planning a bedroom
Bed, wardrobe, window and door
The layout of a bedroom is mostly fixed by four things: where the bed can go, where the wardrobe fits, the window and the door. We draw them together before anything else, check that wardrobe doors open fully past the bed, and place sockets and switches where the furniture will actually be.
Children's rooms need a different plan again: storage they can reach, durable finishes and room for the layout to change as they grow. At Project Violet the renovation included a new children's room and a refined guest bedroom. A bedroom is often one room within a wider villa or apartment renovation, in which case its joinery, lighting and flooring are planned with the rest of the home.
