Building on an existing garden, not an empty plot
Jumeirah Islands is an established Nakheel community, and many of its villas already have a garden, often with mature trees, old paving and irrigation that has been patched over the years. Landscape construction here usually starts with careful demolition rather than a clean site. The work is to remove the old hard surfaces without damaging what stays, rebuild the base properly, and lay the hidden services before anything visible is built. What the site team builds, in order
Strip-out and protection
Old paving, edging and tired planting come out. Trees and palms that stay are fenced off, and the house, veranda and pool edge are protected.
Levels and drainage
The ground is re-levelled so irrigation and rainwater run away from the house and do not pond on paving or wash soil towards the water's edge.
Irrigation
New supply lines and drip and spray zones are laid before planting, so beds, trees and lawn are watered separately.
Cable ducts
Ducts for garden lighting, power points and any pool or water feature equipment go in now, so nothing is chased through finished paving later.
Hardscape
Blockwork for planters and low walls, sub-base, then paving, interlock, stepping stones and decking.
Softscape and finishing
Soil preparation, planting, natural lawn or artificial grass, light fittings and a final clean before handover.
Working inside a gated island community
Access, deliveries and neighbours
Materials and machinery reach a Jumeirah Islands garden through the community's roads and, on most villas, a side passage around the house. We plan deliveries, skips and the size of machinery around that route on the site visit, so heavy items are not carried through the villa.
Our team works from 8:00 to 17:00, Monday to Saturday. The community may set its own rules for contractor access and noisy work, and we follow them. Your project manager coordinates the site day to day and is the one person you call.

From site visit to handover
Project Study
A free visit to check existing levels, drainage, the condition of paving and irrigation, the trees to keep, and the access route.
Plan
Scope, materials and a construction sequence. We apply for the Nakheel NOC and any other approval the work needs.
Visualization
The finished garden in 3D, so the site team builds to an agreed picture rather than a verbal brief.
Execution
Services first, then hardscape, then planting and lighting, run by our in-house team under one project manager.
Duration depends on the work. A programme is given after the site visit.
What changes the cost of the build
How much has to be removed first; whether the existing irrigation and cables can be reused or must be replaced; level changes and drainage work; the area and type of paving, decking and walls; the number of trees and palms being planted or protected; lighting and power points; and how easily materials reach the garden. A quotation follows the site visit.
