AC installation and maintenance in Dubai

We install, service and repair air conditioning in Dubai homes, and we plan new or relocated AC as part of renovations, so units, ducts and drains fit the design instead of fighting it.

WHY AC

Why AC deserves more than a phone call when it fails

In Dubai the air conditioning runs for most of the year and works hardest in exactly the months when a breakdown is least bearable. Most problems build up slowly: filters and coils clog with dust, condensate drains block and leak into ceilings, refrigerant is lost through small leaks, and an older system simply stops keeping up with a house that has been extended or opened up. Regular maintenance keeps a system efficient and catches faults early. Installation is a different question. Whether you are replacing tired split units, adding cooling to a new room or renovating a whole villa, where the equipment goes and how the air, pipes and drains are routed decides how quiet, even and efficient the cooling will be, and how much of it you will see.

WHAT THE

What the service covers

01

Routine maintenance

Cleaning filters, coils and drain lines, checking that the system cools as it should and that controls and thermostats respond correctly. Where the system serves a whole residential or commercial block, this sits within our planned building maintenance service.

02

Fault-finding and repair

Tracing the cause when a unit stops cooling, leaks water, trips or makes noise, and repairing or replacing the failed part.

03

Duct cleaning and checks

Inspecting and cleaning ducted systems, and looking at grilles, insulation and ceiling access around them.

04

New installation

Supplying and installing split, ducted or other systems for new rooms, extensions or a full replacement.

05

Relocation during renovation

Moving indoor units, outdoor units, ducts and drains when walls, ceilings or room uses change.

06

Smart controls

Fitting smart thermostats and linking cooling to home automation, as on Project Murano and Project Beyond. We check smart thermostat compatibility with ducted, split and district cooling before recommending one.

COMMON TYPES

Common types of residential AC, in general terms

Which system suits your home depends on the layout, the ceilings and what is already installed. It is agreed after the site visit.

  • Wall-mounted split unitsAn indoor unit on the wall of each room connected to an outdoor unit. Simple to add room by room, but visible.
  • Concealed or ducted split unitsThe indoor unit sits above a false ceiling and supplies air through grilles. Cleaner to look at, but it needs ceiling space and access panels.
  • Central or package systemsOne larger system serving several rooms through ductwork, common in larger villas.
  • Multi-split and variable refrigerant systemsSeveral indoor units on one outdoor unit or refrigerant circuit, useful where outdoor space for equipment is limited.
  • District cooling connectionsIn some buildings and communities chilled water is supplied centrally; work inside the home then focuses on fan coil units, ducts and controls.
PLANNING AC

Planning AC as part of a renovation

Ceilings, drains and outdoor units

When a ceiling is being redone, it is the right time to decide how the cooling will be hidden. Concealed units need enough depth above the ceiling, a return air path and an access panel in a sensible place, and that has to be drawn alongside the lighting and the gypsum design. Condensate drains need a steady fall to a proper outlet; many of the water stains we see on villa ceilings come from drains that were an afterthought.

Outside, outdoor units need airflow, shade where possible, a route for pipes and somewhere they can be serviced. In a redesigned garden they can be screened with slats or planting, but they should never be boxed in so tightly that they recirculate hot air. If a renovation adds floor area or opens up rooms, the cooling load is checked again rather than assuming the old system will cope.

HOW WE

How we handle AC work

01

Project Study

A visit to see the existing system, the rooms it serves, the ceilings and the outdoor units, and to understand what is going wrong or what you want to change.

02

Plan

We agree whether the answer is maintenance, repair, relocation or new equipment, and how it ties into any ceiling, joinery or renovation work.

03

Visualization

For renovations, grilles, access panels and concealed units are shown in the 3D design so you can see what will be visible.

04

Execution

Our in-house team carries out the work, coordinated by one project manager, with ceilings and finishes made good afterwards.

Working hours are 8:00 to 17:00, Monday to Saturday.

WHAT CHANGES

What changes the cost

  • Number and type of units
  • Condition of the existing systemCleaning and servicing, or parts and replacement.
  • DuctworkNew, modified or cleaned.
  • Ceiling workOpening and making good a ceiling, or building a new one.
  • Pipe and drain routesDistance between indoor and outdoor units and how drains reach an outlet.
  • ControlsStandard thermostats or smart controls linked to automation. AC work is one part of our civil construction work, which also covers extensions, masonry, waterproofing and the wider MEP of a villa.
FAQ

Questions and answers

Do you only do AC as part of a renovation?

No. We maintain, repair and install AC in homes as a service in its own right, and we also plan it within renovations and extensions.

Why is my AC leaking water from the ceiling?

A common cause is a blocked or poorly sloped condensate drain, or a dirty coil and drain pan. It should be inspected before the leak damages the ceiling further.

Why does my AC run but not cool properly?

Typical causes include clogged filters or coils, low refrigerant from a leak, a failing component or a system that is undersized for the space. A site check identifies which.

Can concealed AC be added to a villa that has wall-mounted units?

Usually, if there is or can be a false ceiling with enough depth, a return air path and access for servicing. We check this at the site visit.

Can you move AC units when we change the layout?

Yes. Relocating indoor and outdoor units, ducts and drains is a normal part of our renovation work.

Can you connect AC to smart home controls?

Yes. On Project Murano and Project Beyond we installed smart thermostats as part of the works.

What are your working hours?

We work from 8:00 to 17:00, Monday to Saturday.
