We keep villa pools in Dubai clean, balanced and running, from the water and the filter to the tile line, pump room and lights, with the same team that designs and builds them.

Why a pool in Dubai needs a routine
A pool in Dubai works harder than almost anywhere else. Strong sun and dry heat take water out by evaporation every day and shift the chemistry of what is left. Sand and fine dust arrive on the wind and load the filter, and after a shamal a clear pool can turn cloudy quickly. Sunlight breaks down the sanitiser, warm water lets algae establish quickly, and the pump, filter and chiller run for long stretches through summer. None of this is a fault in the pool; it is what a pool in this climate does when nobody is looking after it. OutMazed offers swimming pool maintenance and cleaning in Dubai alongside building new pools and renovating existing ones, so the person looking at your water also understands the structure and equipment beneath it.
What regular pool maintenance in Dubai covers
Water balance
Testing the water and adjusting sanitiser, acidity, alkalinity and hardness so it stays clear, comfortable and kind to tiles, grout and fittings.
Skimming and vacuuming
Clearing leaves and surface film, vacuuming the floor and brushing walls and steps so sand does not stain and algae cannot take hold.
Filtration
Emptying baskets, checking the pressure and backwashing or cleaning the filter. A filter clogged with dust is the usual reason a pool looks dull when the chemistry is right.
Pump, chiller and plant room
Checking that the pump primes and runs quietly, that valves and unions are not weeping, and that the chiller is running as it should in summer. Anything beyond a check is arranged.
Tile line and grout
Cleaning the band at the waterline where scale builds up, and looking for loose tiles, open grout joints or cracked coping that let water behind the finish.
Lighting and fittings
Checking underwater and perimeter lights, their seals and controls, plus ladders, handrails, drain covers and inlets.
Summer and winter are different jobs
The routine changes with the season, not the pool
Through the hot months the water is warm, the sun is relentless and the pool is in use most evenings. Sanitiser is used up quickly, algae can appear whenever the balance slips, evaporation needs topping up and the chiller works hardest.
In the cooler months the pool is used less but not left alone. Dust still arrives, the balance still drifts and idle equipment is checked before the next summer. It is also the sensible time for anything that needs the pool drained: regrouting, replacing a light, fixing coping or planning a bigger change.

Signs your pool needs attention
- Cloudy or green waterA filter that is not clearing the water, a sanitiser level that has dropped, or dust after a shamal that has not been vacuumed out.
- The water level keeps fallingSome loss is normal evaporation in Dubai. A drop faster than that, or one that continues with the pool covered, points to a leak.
- Scale at the tile line, or loose tilesHard water leaves scale at the waterline; hollow-sounding patches mean water has got behind the finish, which is a repair rather than a clean.

When maintenance turns into repair or renovation
The same team handles cleaning, repair and rebuilding
Routine care cannot fix a structural leak, a worn interior finish or equipment at the end of its life. A maintenance team that also builds pools recognises the difference and flags it early, rather than treating it with more chemicals.
When the answer is a bigger job, it is planned properly. A new finish, wider steps, new lighting or a reworked poolside is covered on our swimming pool renovation page, designed in 3D before work starts. Garden maintenance can run alongside, and for the whole house there is villa annual maintenance.

What changes the cost of pool maintenance
A quotation follows the site visit.
- Size and type of the poolA large overflow pool with a balance tank is more work than a small skimmer pool.
- Condition at the startA neglected or green pool needs a one-off recovery before a routine makes sense.
- Equipment in the plant roomA chiller, water features, automation or a complex lighting set-up add items to check.
- Use and surroundingsDaily summer use, palms overhead or open sand nearby all bring more work.
